I did not get any constructive criticism on my first elevator pitch so I just took the complements and focused on making my next pitch showcase those even more. For example, I was told that I did a great job of outlining the problems in my last pitch, so I expanded on them in this pitch. One comment that stuck out to me was that they found it important that I addressed that there is an issue and highlighted how the app alleviates the pains this problem causes. I made sure to add that part into this pitch as well.
Hi Sarah, I think you did a good job of speaking confidently and relaying you points in this elevator pitch. When I made my pitch, I found it particularly important to highly the problem, and then the solution I was proposing, rather than the other way around. If I were to look for something to improve on, I think you should focus on emphasizing the benefit to the customer first, rather than leading with the benefits to the delivery company. I say this because the product is focusing on the customer, not an outside/third party, even if it's relevant in the equation.
ReplyDeleteHello Sarah,
ReplyDeleteYou did a great job with your elevator pitch. You spoke slowly and effectively throughout the pitch. You also sufficiently highlighted the problem your product solves which creates a need in the mind of your audience. Your pitch was very relatable in that sense. I think you addressed the features of the app and the functionality very well. If there was something I'd suggest to work on, it would be to be a little more dynamic with your delivery. Overall, very great job.
